Silas started nursery school this morning. He'll be attending the Y of Washington Heights & Inwood, a great program that some of our friends' kids have attended.
His first day went well. On the way to school, he asked only one question: "Will there be toys?"
At the bus stop, he kept hopping up and down and chanting, "Let's go to school! Let's go to school!" Once there, he charged right in and didn't look back.
He and his nine other classmates will be attending two mornings a week, under the instruction of Miss Nancy and Miss Vicky, who seem to run a tight ship. We're glad he was so happy with his day at school, though in truth we are more excited than he is.
