Here's the first batch of photos from our week-long trip to California. We spent most of our time in Palm Springs (photos in a future post), but before driving to the desert we raced through Los Angeles for a couple of days. The rest of the L.A. photos are here.
Ivan, Nicole, and Milo live in Venice. We had brunch on the boardwalk and then hit the beach.
We stayed at Aunt Theresa's house in Del Rey, and may not have properly warned her about Silas's jet lag. The first morning he was up at 4:00 a.m., then 5:00 a.m. the next. For Theresa and Silas's parents, lots of coffee was involved. (Silas drinks "air coffee.")
Silas loved Theresa's beautiful yard.
Herb and Sarba have a wonderful apartment on Leimert Boulevard.
We visited the Kellys in Playa del Rey, where cousins Caitlin and Maeve affectionately mauled Silas.
For those of you keeping track, this is the 100th post to the Silas blog. Hard to believe the first post was just fifteen months ago. The first posts were actually made by Dodie, who was teaching me how to blog.
