Guess Silas's Weight

A few hours before Silas's six-week check-up, the Grandparents Keithley, Meredith, and I took bets on his weight. Our guesses are at right in the form of a Blogger poll [n.b. Poll is no longer posted.], so you can vote on who came closest to Silas's actual weight. Come back next week for the answer.

Here's some information to help you guess. Silas was 7 lbs., 3 oz. at birth, and regained his birth weight at his two-week check-up (i.e., about four weeks ago). At birth he was 20 1/2 inches in length, and now he is 22 inches. And here are two pictures of Silas -- now and then -- to help you estimate the weight gain.
