Theresa has a great back yard and Silas took full advantage of it. Here he is, shortly after our arrival, having talked Pete into chasing him around the lawn.
Silas was fascinated with Theresa's fountain and garden hose. He went through several shirts a day playing with water -- a minor problem, since he refused to wear short-sleeve shirts during the trip and we'd brought only a few with long sleeves.
High on our to-do list was seeing a passel of babies. Meredith and I adored Lucia and Clementine, the five-month-old twin daughters of Ron and Lisa.

In the center of this tangle is Ivan and Nicole's recent arrival, Linus, also five months. (Also pictured: Nicole, Otis, Ivan, Milo.)
