We took a brief, extended-weekend trip to San Mateo. The timing of the trip was linked to dual celebrations of Summer's pregnancy and Sarah's engagement, but unfortunately we wound up with almost no photos of those events. Grandma Charlotte and Annie:
Silas was always talking about "Grandpa Ray's house." We never made it too far away without Silas informing us, "Want to go to Grandpa Ray's house!" Here he is camped out at the door, waiting to get in.
San Mateo's Central Park has a great train ride. Silas talked me into two rides (not hard to do at $1.50 for three times around the loop), and he cried each time we got off the train.
