Harrisburg

Over the Memorial Day Weekend, Meredith flew to California for thirty-six hours to be a bridesmaid in a wedding. Because of the tight turnaround, it didn't make sense to lug Silas out there. Instead, he and I took the train to Harrisburg for the joint birthday party of Silas's first cousins -- Aden (May 7) and Talia (May 28).

Mike and Diane hosted a heck of a lot of us. The Grandparents Keithley were on hand, as were Aunt Lisa's brothers and their families, and many of Aunt Lisa's other relatives. Silas, surrounded by cousins and cousins of cousins (such as Kate, pictured here), had a ball.

Silas and Talia could easily pass for brother and sister. Here is Talia first reaching out to Silas, then leaning out to him.

Silas thought the Goldbergs' back yard was a park.

It sort of is a park.

Aden just turned three but already bats .600. That's no joke -- I saw him get hit after hit after hit.

Aunt Lisa and her boy:

I love this picture of Abby and Talia:

Many more pictures from Harrisburg are here.

It doesn't surprise me (too much) that Aden bats (.600!). His father is one heck of an athlete. I also won't be surprised when Silas starts counting HCP's.

Thanks for posting the pictures from Memorial Day. Silas is a doll-bring him back to the "Goldberg Park" anytime.
Love,
Diane and Mike
