Silas was born on October 21, 2007, at 11:45 a.m. He weighed 7 lbs., 3 oz., and measured 20 1/2 inches.

Someone finally gave me the link to Silas' blog, and it wasn't Chris. He was keeping your beautiful family to himself. I'm happy to see all of you and to know that y'all are bonding, Meredith is on the mend, and Silas has already graduated from cute blob in a drawer to cute pumpkin in a bassinet. He is truly easy on the eyes; my heart melts just seeing his picture and the love in which you are swaddling him. Oh, by the by, GR8 picture of him and Delbert. It reminds me of a picture we have of Calvin swaddled up on day four, laying perpendicular on the couch with Isaac the cat curled right up next to him. Isaac was not as willing to be swaddled as Delbert apparently was. Much love to all of you, Grandpa and Grandma too.
